Prayagraj: A 16-year-old student hanged himself at his house in the Mundera, Transport Nagar locality under the limits of the Dhoomanganj police station on Monday.The intermediate student was to appear for his Mathematics exam scheduled from 2pm on Monday itself. Police said the parents found him hanging inside his room. The reason behind the suicide is still unknown.
Initial police investigations revealed that the student spoke to his friends early Monday and narrated his nervousness and fear regarding the exam. The student excelled in high school exam held in 2024.
