Chennai: TVS Mobility has signed an MoU with Austria’s Palfinger AG to provide integrated supply chain, dealership and aftermarket support for its India operations, as Palfinger commits Rs 350 crore in the first phase of its India expansion. Palfinger will set up a manufacturing facility in Pune by 2027 under its Strategy 2030+ roadmap, targeting domestic and export markets. TVS Mobility will support the rollout through supply chain readiness, market access and lifecycle services across its group companies.
The partnership will draw on the capabilities of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, TVS Automobile Solutions and TVS Smart Mobility. The companies will also explore opportunities in the defence sector. R Dinesh, director, TVS Mobility said the tie-up strengthens TVS Mobility’s role as an integrated partner for global OEMs in India. Andreas Klauser, CEO, Palfinger AG, said the collaboration supports Palfinger’s APAC growth strategy under Strategy 2030+.
