Ahmedabad: The NHL Municipal Medical College has secured National Medical Commission’s (NMC) approval to launch two super-speciality courses for the 2025-26 academic session.The college, managed by the AMC Medical Education Trust, became the first institution in Gujarat to offer a doctorate in medicine (DM) in clinical immunology and rheumatology. Alongside this, the NMC has sanctioned an MCh in urology, providing a total of four new super-speciality seats — two for each discipline.These new departments will be operational at SVP Hospital. By increasing the local pool of highly qualified super-specialists for chronic rheumatic and urological diseases.
