Kanpur News: Fake of GST in Kanpur, stolen crores by making fake firms, know how?

Kanpur News : A case of GST forgery has come up in Kanpur. GST of crores of rupees is accused of stealing crores of rupees by creating two fake firms. The addresses given in registration are also fake. A case has been registered on both of the state tax department. The State Tax Department has caught two big cases of GST (GST) theft.

On the complaint of the State Tax Department, the police have registered a case against Meerut resident Vivek and Unnao resident Deepak Haripal Yadav and started investigation.
On the complaint of State Tax Officer Gopal Krishna Saraswat, a case has been registered against Vivek Vivek and Unnao resident Deepak Haripal Yadav in Kalyanpur police station. Both are accused of registering GST through fake documents and tax evasion of crores of rupees.

In the first Tahrir given by the State Tax Department, it was told that Vivek, a resident of Meerut, registered a firm named VK Enterprises and was detected as Unnao Priyadarshini Nagar, but investigation found that there is no shop or office, it is just a house.

Investigation also revealed that Vivek took a fake input tax credit (ITC) of about 2.28 crore in the year 2024-25 and 1.81 crore in 2025-26, thus the government suffered a loss of Rs 4.1 crore. In the second case, Deepak Haripal Yadav of Unnao registered a firm named Srishyam Suppliers and showed his address in Gangaghat, Unnao. He claimed the purchase and sale of plastic goods, but no business was found at the location mentioned in the investigation. At present, the police has got an investigation into the case and the department is also investigating in its own way.
