Tamil Nadu polls: DMK forms 7-member committee to hold seat sharing talks with alliance parties

CHENNAI: DMK formed a seven-member committee to hold seat sharing talks with alliance parties.DMK general secretary Duraimurugan announced through a release that the seven-member committee would be headed by DMK treasurer T R Baalu in which municipal administration minister K N Nehru, DMK MP Trichy Siva, DMK MP A Raja, DMK organizational secretary R S Bharathi, PWD minister E V Velu, and agriculture minister M R K Pannerrselvam are members.

Earlier, the DMK announced that the seat sharing talks would commence from March 22, after the end of the interim budget session, and a day ahead of the commencement of talks, the Dravidian major had formed the committee.Apart from the DMK, the Congress was the only party in the alliance to form a five-member committee to hold sharing talks.
