Min temp crosses 20°C, max remains low

Ahmedabad: Under the influence of a Western Disturbance, the minimum temperature in the city reached 20.5°C, one of the highest this season, as it was 4.9 degrees above normal. At 31.4°C, the maximum temperature, on the other hand, was 0.9 degree lower than normal. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31°C and 21°C, respectively, on Saturday.The forecast for Gujarat indicated that the maximum temperature is likely to rise by 2°C to 3°C in the next 48 hours, after which it is likely to fall by 2°C to 3°C. There will be no major change in the minimum temperature for the next 48 hours. Afterwards, it may fall by 2°C to 3°C, according to the forecast.Parts of central and south Gujarat saw a change in weather, with light rain in parts of Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, and Narmada on Friday. Other parts of the state experienced partly cloudy weather. Rajkot recorded the highest maximum temperature at 35.3°C, whereas Keshod recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 15.7°C on Friday.
