Tej Pratap Yadav, son of RJD leader and Lalu Prasad Yadav, has got bail from Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court in a job scam instead of land. Along with him, Hema Yadav and other accused were also granted bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and security bonds. Earlier, the court summoned former Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, Tej Pratap Yadav and his sister Hema Yadav in the case.

At the same time, new summons were also issued to Tejashwi Yadav. The matter is related to the recruitment of group ‘D’ in Railways between 2004 and 2009, when Lalu Yadav was a railway minister. It is alleged that during this time many appointments were given to his family or close colleagues in lieu of land. The CBI has filed a charge sheet against 78 people in this scam.
