Nashik: A two-and-half-year-old boy, playing near his house in the city’s Satpur area, died after the wall of a dilapidated structure fell on him on Tuesday night. Inspector Prakash Ahire of Satpur police station said the accident occurred around 8pm when Mohammad Huzer Khan was playing near the wall. The boy’s father took him to a hospital, where he died. “We have registered and accidental death case and are finding who is responsible for the accident,” the officer added.
Another senior officer said that there is a dispute between two parties over the property and the matter is sub judice. “We will find out how the child went near that structure, if it poses further danger to people,” he said.
