Dibrugarh: On the concluding day of his two-day visit to Assam on Thursday, BJP national president Nitin Nabin said the party is confident of returning to power in the upcoming assembly elections, citing strong mobilisation at the grassroots.“The energy and commitment of our karyakartas clearly indicate that BJP is set to script a historic hat-trick in Assam,” Nabin said during a meeting with booth-level workers.
Nabin toured upper Assam districts Dibrugarh and Tinsukia, accompanied by Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Assam state BJP president Dilip Saikia and other senior leaders. The itinerary included visits to tea gardens, where the leadership interacted with workers and local residents.In Dibrugarh, Nabin held a review meeting at Booth No. 231 of the Dibrugarh constituency and urged booth teams to strengthen micro-management and expand the party’s reach to every household.In Tinsukia, Nabin paid floral tributes at the Samadhisthal of Swargadeo Sarbananda Singha, founder of the Matak Kingdom, and spoke about the leader’s legacy.
