Jaisalmer: A 23-year-old man from Jodhpur was stabbed multiple times Thursday in a daylight attack in Barmer’s Bapu Colony area while on his way to attend his niece’s wedding. The assailants, riding a motorcycle, intercepted him, repeatedly stabbed him in the neck, and fled.Barmer SP Narendra Singh Meena identified the victim as Prince. Police said 3 to 4 attackers stopped him and stabbed him 4 to 5 times before escaping as bystanders moved in to help.Prince was taken to Barmer District Hospital and later referred to Jodhpur for further treatment. Inspector Manoj Kumar and a police team reached the scene after receiving information. The investigation is being monitored by ASP Nitesh Arya.Police said preliminary enquiries point to an old enmity. Three suspects have been detained and are being interrogated.
