Shimla: The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall on Wednesday, with Kukumseri in Lahaul-Spiti district recording the lowest minimum temperature of -5.9°C.Light snowfall was recorded in the high-altitude areas of districts, including Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Kinnaur, and Chamba. It also snowed at the Atal Tunnel and in the high mountain passes, including the Rohtang Pass. The fresh spell of snowfall pushed the mercury down in many parts of the state. Among the tourist destinations, Manali was the coldest, with a minimum temperature of 5.4°C. Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 7.4°C, while Dharamshala recorded 9.4°C.
