Aligarh. The GRP recovered the kidnapped girl from platform number two of the railway station in Etawah after three and a half hours. Kanpur was going from the passenger with the accused girl. During the checking on the information, it was caught in the back compartment of the engine at platform number four at Etawah station. The girl was playing with her mother at the time of the incident. The accused hails from Gaya district of Bihar. His criminal record has been sourced from there.
Dharmendra Manjhi, a village of Gomipur police station in Nawada district of Bihar, works on a kiln in Atrauli area of Wednesday. She was accompanied by her sister -in -law Sona Manjhi and niece three -year -old Rupa Manjhi. The kilns have been closed due to rain. They were waiting for the train at platform number two to return on Thursday. The mother was sleeping at that time. Uncle Dharmendra had gone for some work. This Rupa was playing. Meanwhile, a young man took him away. When the mother’s eyes opened, the girl was missing. Meanwhile, uncle Dharmendra also returned. GRP was informed about the disappearance of the girl. On this information, CCTV cameras were investigated with the help of RPF.

In the footage, a young man appeared to take the girl on the platform number seven. This footage was also shown to mother Sona. He immediately identified the child. The team was then activated. On the other hand, its information was given at all stations towards Kanpur and Ghaziabad stations. On reaching Etawah, this young man was caught in the train with the girl while checking.
In the press conference, GRP’s CO Uday Pratap Singh said that the girl was actively recovered from the railway police at 5.32 pm. The arrested youth is named Birji Manjhi of Bagaudar village of Haswa police station in Gaya district of Bihar. Inspector GRP Sandeep Tomar in the team, station in -charge Etawah Shailesh Nigam, SI Rajesh Singh, RPF SI Umesh Chandra. Women constable Monica, including the team of Crime Branch and other members were involved.

Four teams were deployed to recover this girl. A team checked the CCTV cameras of the station premises. The other team investigated footage of CCTV cameras installed in the city. The third team was run on the city’s roadways and private bus stands. The fourth team continued to find the accused with the help of surveillance in the station premises. On the other hand, all the outposts and police stations of GRP and RPA were alerted to check the Delhi and Kanpur.

Seeing the condition of the mother, the girl was kept away from the mother. The police feared that the girl would not run away. The girl was sitting separately in the police station premises. The accused was also in police custody.
