Patna: Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh will organise the Mahila Udyami Phagunotsav 2026 at Gyan Bhawan in Patna from Feb 19 to Feb 23. Bihar industries minister Dilip Jaiswal and food and consumer protection minister Leshi Singh will inaugurate the event.Addressing a press conference at the BIA auditorium, Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh president Usha Jha said the fair would feature more than 225 stalls representing various states across India. She added that women entrepreneurs from different states and Bihar are setting up these stalls. The event involves participation from NABARD, WDC, the Bihar department of industries, SIDBI, BIADA, and other govt and non-govt agencies.
The fair provides a platform for women to sell products, including silk, handloom, jewellery, food items, Mithila paintings, and 3D printed products. The programme includes workshops and seminars to inform entrepreneurs about govt schemes and facilitate networking with various agencies. A fashion show and ramp walk will be organised during the event. Entry for the public is free of charge.
