Pune: The Alankar police detained a woman (31), working as a manager with a private company, after she sprayed a solution at the face of her grandmother (75) at the latter’s Karvenagar residence to commit theft around 11.50am on Monday. However, the spray did not cause much damage and the elderly woman raised an alarm.Other family members were gathered. The elderly woman lodged a complaint with the Alankar police. Police released the complainant’s granddaughter after serving her a notice.
