Jaipur: The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the Rajasthan Assembly Monday finalised the schedule for the ongoing Budget Session, deciding that the Rajasthan Finance Bill, 2026, and the Rajasthan Appropriation Bill, 2026, will be taken up for discussion and passage on Feb 27, marking the conclusion of the session. Sources said the shorter duration is due to the upcoming local body elections scheduled for March–April. The meeting was presided by assembly speaker Vasudev Devnani.
The House will debate and vote on demands for grants on Feb 20 and 21. On Feb 21, members will also discuss the govt’s 2-year progress report (2024–25 to 2025–26).“From Feb 23 to Feb 26, the Assembly will continue deliberations and voting on the remaining demands related to the budget. Any pending demands will be put to vote on Feb 26,” said the statement from the Vidhan Sabha.
