Kanpur: As many as 7,198 advocate-members will elect the executive committee of the Kanpur Bar Association on Tuesday . Polling will be held at the DAV Degree College campus from 8 am to 5 pm under the close supervision of the Elders Committee and the district administration.Chairman of the Elders Committee, Uma Shankar Gupta, on Monday issued an advisory stating that advocates will be permitted to vote only after verification of their Certificate of Practice issued by the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh, along with a QR code issued by the KBA. Sixteen polling booths have been set up. The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for peaceful polling. tnn
