By definition, Ireland’s win over the Azzurri on Saturday was a bounce back. However, you can’t help but feel there’s much more improving to be done if Ireland are to topple England at Twickenham.

Andy Farrell’s men got away with it in the Aviva against a tricky Italian side. One fears the English will be less forgiving.

Steve Borthwick’s side will be reeling from their 31-20 loss to Scotland at Murrayfield and will be coming into this game with a point to prove in front of their own fans.

Ireland’s recent record against England is something to take confidence from, winning five of their last six encounters. How will things fare out this weekend, we’ll have to wait and see.
