RaeBareli ! District Magistrate Harshita Mathur held a meeting in the Collectorate Auditorium at Bacha Bhavan on a detailed action plan to conduct the 11th International Yoga Day safely on 21 June under the instructions of the government.
Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr. Ravi Prakash Sonkar informed that Yoga Week is to be celebrated from 15 to 21 June. The program will be inaugurated on 15 June at the district level in the presence of public representatives at Guru Govind Singh Udyan at 6 am. On June 16, collective yoga exercises will be organized in all schools. On June 17, the Community Yoga Sessions Program will be organized in all the gram panchayats. Also health test camps will be set up. On June 18, the yoga session for the specific category will be held at the orphanage, old ashram, jail, leprosy ashram. On June 19, collective yoga will be performed in government and corporate offices. On June 20, a yoga workshop for the health of women will be organized, which will include virgin, pregnant, working and adult women.
On 21 June International Yoga Day, the collective yoga practice will be organized at the district headquarters Motilal Nehru Stadium from 6 am. Along with this, common yoga protocols will also be practiced in all gram panchayats, blocks, tehsils, historical sites, schools and colleges.
The meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Arpit Upadhyay, Joint Magistrate Prafulla Sharma, ADM Judicial Vishal Yadav, ADM Administration Siddharth, ADM (V/Ra) Amrita Singh, City Magistrate Ram Avtar Verma, PD Satish Prasad Mishra and officials of all departments were present.
