Banda accident : A house suddenly caught fire on Sunday night in Devin Nagar locality of Naraini Kotwali area of Banda district, in which 24 -year -old woman Anu alias Anita and her 9 -month -old son Partha died scorched. This accident has shook the entire area.
Police officer Krishnakant Tripathi said that the cause of the fire has not been ascertained and investigation is being done. He said that the investigation of the accident has been started by sending the bodies of mother and son for postmortem. The woman’s maternal uncle has alleged that the in -laws were demanding one lakh rupees in dowry and tortured for not giving. He also alleged that the in -laws burnt them alive and killed them. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
