UP Board exam: DJs to not play music after 10pm

Prayagraj: With UP board examinations beginning from Feb 18, Pratapgarh police on Sunday issued a set of guidelines for DJ operators, asking them to follow rules and regulations near board centres and residential areas.SP (Pratapgarh) Deepak Bhukar said, “All DJ operators across the district have been asked to follow the noise standards, or action would be initiated against them.” The SP made it clear that instructions were issued to all station house officers to implement the noise pollution rules and regulations regarding playing music at functions and events, or FIRs would be registered against those who played music after 10 pm. The cops would seize the DJ equipment after registering the FIRs.
