KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

Tenaga Nasional Bhd together with Aurora Power Generation Sdn Bhd had won the bid to develop a 1,400MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Terengganu. 

Malakoff Corp Bhd secured an extension for three plants held by Segari Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd in Perak (1,303MW), GB3 Sdn Bhd, also in Perak (429MW), and Prai Power Sdn Bhd in Penang (350MW), also until Dec 31, 2029.

Gamuda Land, the property arm of Gamuda Bhd, said Malaysia remains its core market within its geographically diversified portfolio as it continues to strengthen its regional footprint across Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia and the United Kingdom.  

99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd’s net profit rose 26.3% YoY to RM157.2mn in 4QFY25 from RM124.4mn a year earlier, as revenue jumped 19.0% YoY to RM3.1bn from RM2.6bn. 

Solarvest Holdings Bhd plans to more than double its generation capacity in the next two years, as declining battery costs enable further deployment of renewables. 

Paramount Corporation Bhd’s net profit for FY25 rose 16.0% YoY to RM118.8mn from RM102.5mn a year earlier. Revenue eased 9.0% YoY to RM946.9mn from RM1.0bn previously.  

Ekovest Bhd has secured approval from the Employees Provident Fund for a one-year extension to implement its exit plan from Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara-Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd, the concessionaire of the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway.  

Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd has secured a RM430.1mn contract from the Government, through the Public Works Department, for the Cameron Highlands bypass road construction project.  

GDB Holdings Bhd is acquiring three parcels of leasehold land in Sarawak for RM32.7mn in cash as part of its expansion into property development in Kuching.

iCents Group Holdings Bhd accepted two letters of award from an undisclosed local construction company to undertake two subcontract projects worth a total RM20.3mn.  

Harvest Miracle Capital Bhd plans to invest RM4.4mn to acquire a 40.0% stake in Kaw Kaw Malaya Sdn Bhd, marking its entry into the food and beverage segment. 

ISF Group Bhd has bagged a RM10.0mn contract from Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd for cold-water and sanitary plumbing works for a serviced apartment project with commercial lots.
