New Delhi: A mutilated body was found in the Haiderpur water canal in northwest Delhi on Friday, prompting police to launch a murder probe.Police received information about a body lying in the canal. The body is estimated to be of a male aged 30–35 years. The body appeared to be 2 days old. Crime and forensic teams were called for inspection and evidence collection. The body was later shifted to a mortuary. A case was registered. Efforts are under way to identify the deceased. TNN
