Dhubri: Police on Saturday arrested a student, Shamim Rahman, on allegations of leaking the alternative English question paper along with an answer script during the examination.A police source said Shamim entered the PM Sri Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School at Dhubri with a mobile phone in the middle of the examination and sent exam paper with answer script to a particular student appearing for the exam.
Shamim is a student of West Dhubri Senior Secondary School and a permanent resident of Khalilpur village on the outskirts of Dhubri town, a police source said.Police seized his mobile handset and are investigating how he allegedly breached security at the school and entered the classroom.Police suspect someone inside the school helped Shamim to get into the class.
