Kolkata: The proprietor of an ornament shop, Shyamal Kumar Paul, lodged a complaint at Baguiati police station on Friday, stating that two men allegedly stole a gold bracelet from his shop while posing as customers.Paul, a resident of Bipin Ganguli Road, Ghugudanga under Nager Bazar PS reported the incident at Baguiati police station on Friday evening. According to the complaint, his ornament shop is located near Sushma Apartment, opposite Pathsala, Deshbandhu Nagar.He alleged that around 12.20 pm, two men entered the shop on the pretext of purchasing gold jewellery. While pretending to select items, they allegedly diverted his attention and stole a box containing a gold bracelet from the shop before fleeing the scene.Police have registered a case under sections 316(2), 318(4) and 61(2) of the BNS.
