Complaint filed against fake transfer order in Karnataka chief minister’s name

Bengaluru: Based on the complaint filed by an official from CM’s office, city police booked a case against unidentified persons on charges of faking a transfer order circular in Siddaramaiah‘s name and posting it on social media.“It was observed that a note regarding the deputation of Dr K Mohan, currently serving as district health and family welfare officer, Mandya, to the post of deputy commissioner of excise, Mysuru Rural, circulated on social media. This note, which bore no official number or date, was not registered in the E-Office software of the minister’s secretariat, nor was the note forwarded to any department. Based on this, no transfer or deputation order was issued either. However, as it appears that this act was committed with the malicious intent of bringing a bad name to the minister and the govt,” the complaint read.
