Reuters, Islamabad. A madrasa (Jamia Haqqania madrasa) in Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was blasted on Friday. Six people died in this incident. At the same time, more than 20 people have been injured. The head of the madrasa has also been injured in this blast. It is located in Nowshera area of Madrasa province.
Doubt of suicide attack
The explosion occurred during Friday prayers in the main hall of the madrasa, after which the authorities announced an emergency in Nowshera. According to the initial investigation, it was a suicide attack.
The madrasa was founded in September 1947 by Islamic scholar Maulana Abdul Haq Haqqani. Last month, a roadside bomb blasted in Balochistan province of Pakistan. One person was killed in this accident.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the incident. He said, “Such cowardice and heinous acts of terrorism cannot weaken our resolve against terrorism.” (We) are firm to completely eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country. ”
According to the post on X of the Interior Ministry, Pakistan’s internal minister Mohsin Naqvi also condemned the explosion, deeply grief and regret it.
