Times News NetworkChandigarh: A woman stabbed another woman with a sharp-edged weapon at the Japanese Garden in Sector 31 on Thursday night. The victim’s friend, Rani, a resident of Daria, said that on Thursday evening, at around 5.30pm, she accompanied Khushi to the Japanese Garden in Sector 31 for a photoshoot. She alleged that they ran into a group of six to seven men and women creating a nuisance in the garden. When they tried to stop them, one of the women allegedly started hurling abuses at Khushi.When she protested, a woman named Asha, a resident of Hallomajra, allegedly assaulted her on the back and waist with a sharp-edged weapon. Rani said that the men who accompanied Asha also assaulted her. Rani immediately informed the police control room at 112. A PCR van and cops from the Sector 31 police station reached the spot and rushed the victim to GMCH-32.
