Bengaluru: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), which conducts Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) for admission to engineering and other professional courses, extended the last date to submit applications till Feb 22.So far, 2.9 lakh candidates have registered using their Aadhaar numbers. Based on students’ requests, the last date for submitting applications was extended from the earlier Feb 17 to Feb 22, and the last date for fee payment extended to Feb 24, KEA administrative officer Islauddeen Gadyal said.Of the registered candidates, 2.5 lakh have already paid application fee. Document verification of 1.8 lakh students was completed online and 35,000 at the college level.
