CM inspects drainage and road projects
During a recent visit to Patna, Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar evaluated significant infrastructure initiatives, including dual underground drainage systems alongside newly constructed four-lane roads adjacent to local Eco Parks. He noted that work on the crucial stretch from Patel Chowk to Eco Park is progressing well, with sheet piling and slush removal already completed.

Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Thursday conducted a spot inspection of four infrastructure works, including construction of two underground drainage systems and four-lane roads above them, between Patel Roundabout and Atal Path near the two Eco Parks in the New Capital area of Patna.The projects were announced during his Pragati Yatra last year and include underground drainage on the nullah from Patel Chowk to the western end of Eco Park, and from the eastern end of Eco Park to Atal Path. Both stretches will have four-lane roads constructed above them.

During the inspection, officials briefed the chief minister on progress, stating that work from Patel Chowk to the western end of Eco Park is underway. Sheet piling and slush removal have been completed, and sand piling has commenced.The CM asked officials concerned to complete both drainage and road segments within the stipulated timeframe.
