Former hospital CEO accused of embezzling 28.5cr

Vadodara: A former CEO of Ward Wizard Medicare Hospital was accused of cheating the hospital of Rs 28.47 crore. The hospital registered a complaint against Dr Santoshkumar Gadhvi at Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) police station.Gadhvi had been hired by the hospital in 2022 and he tasked with procuring medical equipment and other assets. The hospital management learned about the alleged illegalities committed by Gadhvi last year and began an inquiry. The complainant stated that the accused forged documents and presented false financial details to the company, apart from opening bank accounts in fake names.Gadhvi, a resident of Anand, was also accused of ordering outdated medical equipment for the hospital and pocketing the money.
