Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said that despite the ruling party creating numerous obstacles and attempting to lure voters, BRS workers fought valiantly with unwavering determination in the municipal polls. In a statement, he alleged that Congress leaders resorted to violence and lured voters with money in the elections. He warned that Telangana society would not remain silent in the face of conspiracies aimed at altering the public mandate using crores of illegally looted public funds.KTR stated that Revanth Reddy would soon pay a heavy price for the harassment and attacks carried out against BRS ranks through the misuse of the police system. He emphasised that regardless of the constraints faced or the false cases filed, the BRS’ fight on behalf of the people would continue relentlessly.He praised the fighting spirit displayed by BRS workers from Adilabad to Alampur in the polls, saying it had given the party immense strength and confidence. KTR criticised the chief minister, claiming that due to the failures over the past two years, he resorted to violence in these elections out of fear of defeat. He accused Revanth Reddy of abusing power at every step out of concern that the setbacks faced in the panchayat elections would be repeated in urban areas.
