Chennai: A 68-year-old retired judicial assistant from the Madras high court, has been arrested by the Sembium police for posing as a lawyer and misbehaving with a woman after luring her to a hotel.Gnana Prakash of MKB Nagar was arrested on Tuesday after he invited a 25-year-old woman to a hotel in Perambur and made inappropriate demands in exchange for helping her resolve a family dispute. He was produced in court and remanded in judicial custody.The Pattabiram police had registered a case against the woman’s husband under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Atrocities on Women Act. Investigation revealed that Gnana Prakash obtained her mobile phone number from her husband, Mahesh Khanna.
