Went to college from home, did not return again
The student’s father lodged a report of the daughter’s disappearance on 10 February. He told that his 19 -year -old daughter was in 12th standard and went to college for a practical examination that day, but did not return. Five days later, on 15 February, the police registered a case of kidnapping. On the morning of 20 February, in the forest of Laharu village, the police found a student’s bag, ID card, clothes and a chopped hand, on which Kalava was tied. The family identified the hand, making it clear that it belonged to his daughter.
Mobile call details revealed
When the call details of the girl’s phone were investigated, she was last interacted with a young man named Tauheed, a resident of Godwa Samad village in Auras police station area. The police started searching for Tauheed and tried to catch him while checking near Wave and Talhi village on Thursday night. Seeing the police, he started running away, but was arrested after the encounter.
Lover confessed crime
In the police interrogation, Tauheed confessed his crime. He told that he and the student used to like each other, but they suspected that the student had a relationship with another young man. In this anger, he called him on 10 February and took him to the forest and cut his throat with a knife. After the murder, he ran away leaving the body there. The body was badly damaged by wild animals due to lying in the forest for several days.
