Vadodara: Three students from the city secured ranks in the Top-50 at the intermediate level in the Dec 2025 examinations conducted by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).According to the ICMAI Baroda chapter, Jainam Shah secured All India Rank (AIR) 8 with 611 marks, Aryan Kharol bagged AIR 28 with 570 marks and Palak Padhiyar secured AIR 41 with 551 marks in the intermediate examination.ICMAI declared the results of the intermediate and final examinations for the Dec 2025 term on Wednesday.At the intermediate level, 281 students from the Baroda chapter appeared for Group I, of whom 44 cleared it, recording a pass percentage of 15.66%. In Group II, 21 out of 157 candidates passed (13.38%). A total of 41 out of 167 students cleared both groups, while 99 students completed the intermediate level.In the final examination, 32 candidates from Vadodara qualified as new cost and management accountants (CMAs). In Group III, 10 of 104 students cleared the exam (9.62%), while 11 of 64 candidates passed Group IV (17.19%). Six out of 35 candidates who appeared for both groups cleared them together.Among the top performers at the final level from the Baroda chapter were Murtuzaali Samlayawala (443 marks), Aymanben Vahora (424 marks), and Parth Sapkal (418 marks).Chapter chairperson CMA Amruta Vyas congratulated the successful candidates and said the results reflect the consistent academic support extended to students in the city.
