Patna: The Special Task Force (STF) raided Alamganj area and arrested notorious criminal Badal Rai alias Badal Gop along with his three accomplices — Kunal Raj, Jitendra Kumar and Akash Kumar. They were allegedly planning a major crime linked to land mafia in Didarganj and Patna City. Police seized two pistols, a country-made pistol, two magazines, nine live cartridges, five cellphones and a motorcycle. Badal faces seven cases, including murder and Arms Act violations, and had allegedly carried out two recent armed attacks in Alamganj.
