The National Deworming Day was observed at Adolescent Clinic of Sir Sunderlal Hospital, IMS-BHU in collaboration with Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child, New Delhi and National Health Mission, on Tuesday under ‘Worm-Free Kids, Brighter Future’ theme. The programme focused on administration of albendazole tablets to children and adolescents aged 1–19 years, in line with vision of ‘Krimi Mukt Bharat’. Prof Mamta stressed on critical role of deworming in improving child and adolescent health.
