Two-day orthopaedic conference in Saharsa from Feb 13
Saharsa will host the Bihar Orthopaedic Association’s 52nd annual conference, BOACON-2026, from February 13-15. This key event, organized by the Kosi Orthopaedic Club, will bring together over 400 delegates for discussions on clinical experiences, research, and advancements in arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and trauma. The conference promises educational sessions, live surgical demonstrations, and networking opportunities for healthcare professionals and students.

Patna: The Bihar Orthopaedic Association will hold its 52nd annual conference, BOACON-2026, from Feb 13 to 15 in Saharsa, said its organising secretary Dr Sanjay Kumar Gupta here on Sunday.Addressing a press conference, he said BOACON serves as a platform for orthopaedic surgeons and medical professionals to deliberate on clinical experiences, research findings, and medical technologies.

The Kosi Orthopaedic Club is organising the event, which has recorded over 400 registrations of delegates. The programme includes lectures, panel discussions, research presentations, and workshops focused on arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and trauma management. Organising chairman Dr Jitendra Kumar Singh said the programme also incorporates sessions intended to facilitate professional interactions and collaborations among attendees.Dr Bhuvan Singh said specialists from multiple states will attend to present data on surgical techniques and treatment methodologies. These sessions are designed to provide educational resources for medical practitioners and students, he added.Treasurer Manoj Kumar Jha said the event aims to update regional healthcare workers on current protocols in orthopaedic care. The three-day conference will conclude with live surgical demonstrations and workshops.
