Donald Trump has delivered a brutal reaction to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl half-time show in a fiery statement on Truth Social.

Mr Trump, who missed Sunday’s NFL climax because it was “too far away”, declared the performance was “one of the worst ever” and served as an “affront to the greatness of America”.

Puerto Rican headliner Bad Bunny had become the first artist to perform an entire half-time set in Spanish – which fans soon branded the “wokest ever”.

He was seen marching through the field with dancers carrying Latin American flags and carrying a football emblazoned with the words “together we make America”.

But the President unleashed a vicious attack as the performance came to a close.

“The Super Bowl half-time show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, ever!” he said.

“It makes no sense, is an affront to the greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of success, creativity, or excellence.

“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the USA, and all over the world.

“This ‘show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our country, which is setting new standards and records every single day – including the best stock market and 401(k)s in history!

“There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a half-time show – and watch, it will get great reviews from the fake news media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the real world.

“And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new kickoff rule,” Mr Trump added.

Even before kick-off, the President had voiced fierce criticism of the half-time entertainment.

He labelled both Bad Bunny and pregame performers Green Day “terrible choices” in an interview with the New York Post.

He said: “I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”

As the official half-time spectacle rumbled on, conservative activists declared victory – with a rival show organised by Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA garnering millions of viewers.

The All-American Halftime Show, headlined by Kid Rock, saw stars Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett take to the stage – with more than six million people tuning in, including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
