Tea seller stabbed to death

Rourkela: A 30-year-old tea seller was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants near rourkela railway station on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Abhinas Yadav.Police said that around 9:30 pm on Friday, Yadav was going to nearby community toilet, when he was allegedly attacked by assailants armed with sharp weapons, following which he fell and died on the spot. The assailants fled. The watchman saw Yadav lying near the toilet and raised an alarm, following which locals informed Plantsite police station. Police after registering a murder case have started investigation.

The motive for the murder is yet to be ascertained. Yadav, who lived with his brother at Gopabandhupalli area, was scheduled to get married on June 19. Post-mortem examination was conducted on Saturday and his body handed over to his family.
