Udaipur: Three people were killed and 46 were injured after a bus carrying wedding guests overturned on a slope near Ghotiya Aamba in Banswada district Friday late evening.The deceased have been identified as Tita Sokha Dodiyar, Dalu Bhura Dama, and Kamla Garasia.According to the police, two buses were part of the wedding procession. The first bus had crossed the slope safely, but the bus following behind it met with the accident.Kalingara CI Yogesh Kumar said that the wedding procession was going from Kheda Wadlipada of Sajjangarh to Sanlai village. However, while returning, the driver lost control of the bus near a slope, and it overturned uncontrollably.After the accident, passersby immediately started rescue work and informed the police. All those who were injured were taken to Barodiya Hospital and later taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.On receiving information about the incident, district collector Indrajeet Yadav and SP Sudhir Joshi reached the hospital. Yadav said that treatment of all those who are injured is ongoing. Hospital administration has been instructed to remain on alert as the condition of some of the injured remains critical.
