'Hai kya ye??? Mujhe darr lag raha hai ab': Punjab woman spots strange object in sky, internet starts talking about aliens

A woman in Jalandhar, Punjab, was left puzzled after spotting something unusual in the sky. She pulled out her phone to record it, but even after watching it for nearly two hours, she couldn’t figure out what she was looking at.The video has since sparked a debate online. While some viewers believe it could simply be a kite, others have joked about UFOs and aliens making their way to Punjab.

Woman spots strange object over Jalandhar

The woman shared the video on Instagram, asking whether anyone else in the city had noticed the object.According to her, she first spotted it at around 3:30 pm while she was out. When she looked up again at 5:25 pm, it still appeared to be in the same area.In the video, she sounds confused as she tries to make sense of what she’s seeing.“I was going somewhere at around 3:30 PM when I saw it. It was in the sky. It’s 5:25 PM now, and this thing is still here, and I don’t know what it is,” she said. She added that the object looked like a kite from a distance, but seemed different when she tried to zoom in.Her caption read, “Who saw this in Jalandhar? I have been watching for the last 2 hours. Is this?”The clip doesn’t offer a clear enough view to identify the object, and its exact nature remains unknown. The claims about how long it stayed in the sky have also not been independently verified.

Internet has its own theories

As the video made the rounds, people in the comments came up with all sorts of explanations. One user suggested it might be NASA’s Advanced Composite Solar Sail System (ACS3), a spacecraft technology demonstration that uses sunlight for propulsion.Others took the more entertaining route, turning the sighting into an alien debate.“Finally, an alien sighting in India as well. I thought they loved to only visit the US,” one person joked.Another comment read, “Aliens are coming to Punjab.”But not everyone was convinced there was anything mysterious about the object. Some viewers thought it was probably a kite, pointing out that kites are a familiar sight over Jalandhar. One user wrote, “It’s a kite; so many are there in the Jalandhar city sky, just saw.”The quality of the footage also became a talking point. One commenter joked, “Conspiracy video always recorded by calculator or landline phone. Why are you not zooming in properly?”Others claimed they had spotted something similar themselves. “Ohhhh I saw that yesterday and thought it was a kite, and it stayed in our sky till after,” one user wrote.Another wasn’t so sure, commenting, “Hmmm. I don’t think it’s a kite.”One viewer even suggested using a Samsung Galaxy phone with 100x zoom to get a better look at the object. There were also claims that the object appeared red and green at night, though these accounts don’t establish what it was. And, of course, someone had to bring Elon Musk into the conversation. “Elon musk ka flying car hai,” one user quipped. For now, there’s no confirmed explanation for what the woman filmed. It could be something as ordinary as a kite or another object seen from an unusual angle. Until there’s clearer footage or more reliable information, the UFO theories remain just that – guesses.
