Lucknow: A three-day philatelic exhibition showcasing postal stamps on flowers, freedom fighters and renowned personalities began at Lok Bhavan on Friday. Organised by the General Post Office (GPO), Lucknow, the exhibition will remain open to visitors till Feb 8, from 10am to 5pm.Around four philatelists were invited to display their collections on the first day. Stamps featuring freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Laxmi Bai, Uda Devi, Jhalkari Bai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Mangal Pandey and Begum Hazrat Mahal were among the highlights. tnn
