Pune: The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) has organised the seventh edition of the Pune International Business Summit (PIBS) 2026, on Feb 9 and 10 in Pune. The summit is expected to see participation from over 32 countries, with more than 60 international delegates and over 50 speakers.Among the officials scheduled to attend are Rajneesh, development commissioner (MSME), and P Velrasu, chief executive officer of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). The sessions will focus on key sectors such as defence, automotive, global capability centres (GCCs), artificial intelligence (AI), agriculture, and food processing.
As part of the summit, the industry body has also facilitated a reverse buyer-seller meet under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme, funded by the ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises. Under this initiative, over 25 international buyers from 10 countries will take part in structured B2B meetings with MSME exporters from Maharashtra.The initiative aims to provide MSMEs with direct access to global buyers, support export order generation, foster long-term international business partnerships, and enhance their export competitiveness.
