Delhi building collapse leaves students feared trapped, rescue operation underway
A five-storey building collapsed near Shiv Mandir in Delhi’s Satya Niketan on Sunday afternoon, killing one person and critically injuring three others. Six people have been rescued and taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre. Several students living in PG accommodation are feared trapped. How Iranian money still reaches US banks despite sanctions
A Wall Street Journal investigation found that about $9 billion in Iranian funds passed through US banks in 2024 despite sanctions. Iranian money can reach American lenders indirectly through foreign banks, shell companies and currency exchanges. Iran also uses oil transfers, Chinese yuan, cryptocurrency and financial networks in Hong Kong and Dubai to keep trade and payments flowing.

India backs UN map resolution while objecting to J&K depiction
India voted in favour of a UN General Assembly resolution promoting equal-area world map projections but clarified that it does not endorse any specific map. The MEA said India’s sovereign territory, including Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, must be depicted according to its official map.
