Ram Temple trust to form CEO’s team from 15 shortlisted candidates
The members will be selected from among the 15 candidates who reached the final stage of the selection process for the CEO’s post.

LUCKNOW: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is preparing to constitute a dedicated team to assist its new chief executive officer, with discussions expected to focus on the structure, responsibilities and cost of running the team.According to sources, the team will be finalised after detailed discussions involving members of the CEO selection committee, newly appointed general secretary Swami Govind Dev Giri and treasurer Mahesh Bhagchandaka. Krishna Mohan, a member of the Trust, and Trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das will also be part of the deliberations.The new CEO will also participate in the process and help identify officials suited to the Trust’s expanding administrative responsibilities.At least seven members are likely to be selected for key positions. These may include heads of leadership and administration, security, finance and engineering. The team could also have an additional CEO, a compliance officer and officials for other specialised responsibilities.The members will be selected from among the 15 candidates who reached the final stage of the selection process for the CEO’s post. The shortlisted candidates include retired IAS and IPS officers, former Provincial Civil Services officials and professionals from other fields. Retired IPS officer Rajesh Pandey is among those considered for the top position.The meeting to discuss the team’s composition is expected to be held in a hybrid format, with some participants joining online and others attending in person. The Trust is likely to examine the experience and suitability of each candidate before assigning responsibilities.Sources said the financial implications of the proposed structure would be a crucial point of discussion. While the Trust wants an efficient team capable of managing pilgrim facilities, security, infrastructure, finance and compliance, it also intends to keep operating costs to a minimum.The team’s final composition and service conditions are expected to be decided after the appointment of the CEO and further consultations with the Trust’s senior office-bearers.
