History Raebareli
Rae Bareli district was built by the British in 1858 after its headquarters city. The tradition is that the city was established by Bharo, which was known as Bharauli or Barauli, which turned in time and became Bareilly. The relationship of ‘Rai’, Kayastha, who was the owner of the city for a period of time, Represents the title ‘Rai’.
On August 8, 1942, the Quit India Movement was started and Jiya was not behind people of any other place. Then public arrest, collective fine, lathi bhanjana and police firing were done here. Police opened fire on the agitated crowd in Sareni, in which many people were martyred and many were crippled. The people of this district enthusiastically participated in a personal satyagraha and gave arrest in large scale which shook foreign roots.
In the early 13th century, Rae Bareli was ruled by Bharo, which was displaced by Rajputs and some Muslim colonists. The south western part of the district was occupied by Bais Rajputs. Kanpur and Amethi, and other Rajput clans established themselves in the North East and East respectively. The almost the entire path was a part of his kingdom during the rule of the Sultans of Delhi.
During the reign of Akbar, the district covered the state as a major part of the district between the covered area Awadh and the Sirkar of Lucknow. In the large part of the district of Sirkars of Manikpur, which is currently the Ganges in the south of Mohanlal Ganj Pargana northwest of Lucknow district and Pargana in the north east, Lucknow. The Pargana of Inauna was equivalent to a palace of that name in the Sirkar of Awadh. Sareni, Khiro Pargana and the western part of Parganas of Rae Bareli were made part of the Sirkar of Lucknow. In 1762, the Sirkars of Manikpur was included in the region of Awadh and placed under Chakaldar.
Rae Bareli has many stories of independence. King Rana Beni Madhav Singh of Baswara Taluk, Unnav, lit a torch of revolution against the British rule in a large part of Rae Bareli. Raja Beni Madhav, who rescued the British sixes, became a great hero for Rae Bareli district. During the revolution of 1857, Beni Madhav made the district independent of the British for 18 months in Rae Bareli district.
Rana Benimadhav of Baiswara, to face the British cruelty in Rae Bareli, Unnao and Lucknow, was added to thousands of farmers, laborers and lit the torch of the revolution, the torch of the British was crushed. Even after many siege, Firgi could not find Madhav. Raja Beni Madhav, the ruler of Shankarpur, became one of the major warriors of the first Indian freedom struggle. Beni Madhav, who created his power in Rae Bareli, the heart site of Awadh region, the guerrilla war against the British is no less than a mission.
Dalmau
Dalamau is a historic site of Rae Bareli district situated on the banks of the holy Ganges river. Among the attractions of this city are Dal Raja’s fort, Bada Math and Mahesh Giri Math. Dalmau also has a unique place in literary history because it is the same place where the famous Hindi poet Suryakant Tripathi Nirala ji wrote his poems in view of the scenes below. Dalamau also has Ibrahim Shariq Mahal of Nawab Shuja -ud -Daula. Tourists can enjoy the meeting of Alha Udal as well as enjoy the rhetoric on the Dalmau pump canal.

More than 250 varieties of birds can be seen which include Gralag Hans, PIN Tail, Mango Till, Vision, Shovler, Surkhab etc. come here from a distance of 5000 km, local birds come here, comb ducks, til, spot bills, spoon bills, king Fisher, vulture etc. Twelve varieties of fish are found in Samaspur lake.
