Ahmedabad: The State Examination Board announced that the preliminary examination for the Teacher Aptitude Test for Higher Secondary (TAT-HS) would be held on March 29.Online registration will remain open from Feb 10 to Feb 19, while fee payment through netbanking can be made from Feb 10 to 20. Candidates who score above the cut-off in the preliminary test will qualify for the mains examination to be held in May.
The TAT-HS will be conducted in a 2-tier format aligned with the National Education Policy 2020 and the Mission Schools of Excellence, for recruitment in registered govt, grant-in-aid, and private higher secondary schools. The preliminary exam will be a 200-mark MCQ paper with two mandatory sections of 100 marks each, including 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer, which has to be completed in 180 minutes.The exam will be offered in Gujarati, English, and Hindi. The exam fees will be Rs 500 for general and Rs 400 for reserved categories.
