Lucknow: UP govt has approved Rs 74.2 crore for the construction of three CM model composite schools, one each in Mathura, Pratapgarh and Balrampur, ensuring modern and quality education for children in remote areas.These schools will offer education from pre-primary to Class 12 within a single campus, thus providing seamless learning opportunities and better educational infrastructure. The projects have been sanctioned under govt’s initiative to strengthen the basic education system across UP.Basic education minister Sandeep Singh said through these model schools, govt aims to reach out to every child. “These schools will create an integrated learning environment from the foundational stage to senior secondary education,” Singh said.According to additional chief secretary, basic and secondary education, Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma, the schools will directly benefit students in rural areas and that officials have been asked to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and project timelines. Govt has also released the first instalment of nearly ₹37.13 crore, equivalent to 50% of the total approved cost. Construction will be carried out by the UP Housing and Development Council. The schools will be built at Nera Bangar village in Mathura, Rampur Bawli in Pratapgarh, and Mahadev Mishra village in Balrampur.
