Chennai: A woman confronted and slapped a 70-year-old man who groped her while she was walking along a road with her mother at Tambaram on Wednesday. Police said the man, Thangadurai, noticed the woman approaching and he walked towards her and touched her inappropriately. The woman caught hold of him and struck him. As a crowd gathered, the man reportedly apologised, but the woman continued to confront him.A patrolling police team detained the man.TNN
