Chennai: A special sub-inspector of police, suspended following a murder inside Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, died by suicide at his residence in Sevvapet near Tiruvallur on Wednesday.Police said Giridharan Nagarathinam, 57, attached to the KMCH police station, was among five police personnel placed under suspension after a rowdy, Aadhi, 23, was murdered by a gang inside the hospital premises on Jan 12.Sevvapet police said Giridharan was found hanging in his house on Wednesday. His body was shifted to the Tiruvallur GH for postmortem. TNN
